ITSO: Solutions and
Consultancy
SCS contributes knowledge to ITSO to help shape
developments in the industry; we are at the forefront of the
UK's ITSO contactless ticketing initiative, and we play an active
role with the ITSO Technical Committee and ITSO Security Group,
as well as the ITSO Integration forum (I2F).
Our detailed technical understanding of the
ITSO Specification combined with our knowledge of the operational
requirements places us in a unique position to offer consultancy
for all phases of ITSO scheme development and management.
We have also developed a number of ITSO-certified
components, and can provide you with off-the-shelf solutions
or bespoke implementations.
Electronic Identity & Citizen
Cards
SCS has a solid track record in developing solutions
for large-scale and high-priority identity initiatives. We develop
applications and solutions for electronic identity card and passport
schemes such as for the Malaysian biometric e-passport and the UK
National Smart Card Project. These include ICAO-compliant applets;
passport reader software; card holder database applications, and on-card
PKI applications.
Electronic payment and loyalty
schemes
We have developed and certified a range of EMV solutions
that correspond to the latest specifications, both for the Java Card
platform and native systems.
e-Purse solutions
Our bespoke payment applications for your e-purse
schemes can provide better value for money than complex e-purse implementations,
without compromising on security. These flexible solutions range from
Java card based purses, to the specification of MIFARE sectors for
storing value. SCS has implemented a fully CEPS-compliant e-purse
for the National Smart Card Project to enable secure off-line load
and contactless operation.
Loyalty schemes
SCS develops secure file-based applications for both
Java Card and bespoke operating systems. These solutions can be combined
with EMV applications and support personalization via the EMV Card
Personalization Specification.
